24 September 2026 — rival cadence was wrong by a factor of three
Original claim: an early internal study of MDN (mdntvlive.com) recorded them publishing “6–10 stories a day”.
What was wrong: that was their Facebook posting habit. Measured against their own publishing feed, on 237 stories over ten days, MDN publishes about 24 stories a day. The beat mix in that study was wrong too: sport is their second-biggest lane (≈23% of stories), not the ≈10% first recorded.
Corrected: the figures on this site and in our planning are now the measured ones. This is exactly the kind of correction we will keep making, in public.
