Reach South Africans who follow the Madlanga Commission, politics and current affairs — on this site, in the daily brief by email, and on our three YouTube channels. Every placement is labelled as advertising. Nothing here is sold as news.
Who you reach
People who want the day’s South African news short, sourced and without spin: public servants, small-business owners, students, expats following home, and the politically engaged who would rather read 400 words than watch a six-hour stream.

Placements
1. Homepage banner
The top of the front door, directly beneath the hero and above the Latest rail — the first thing every visitor sees. One slot at a time, so there is no rotation to hide behind. Image supplied by you (we will ask for 1200×400 or similar), or we build it.
2. In-article placement
A labelled block inside the daily editions — after the story, before the sources. Runs across the desks you choose (Morning Brief, Politics Desk, Highlights, Breaking Desk, the 19:00 Roundup). This is the placement that matches intent: the reader is already in the story.
3. Newsletter sponsorship
One line at the top of an edition: “This brief is supported by …” with a single link. No third-party tracking pixels, no list rental — the email list is never sold or shared.
4. YouTube mention
A spoken or end-card mention on one of the three channels — PoliPulse, Mzansi Courts or Madlanga Today — clearly marked as sponsored in the description. Available once we agree the format.
Rates
Rates on request. We price per campaign, not off a rate card: what a placement costs depends on how long it runs, which desks it sits in, and whether we build the creative. We would rather quote you the real number than publish one that changes next month.
- Tell us the dates and the placement you want.
- We confirm availability and send a written quote — usually within one working day.
- You approve the creative and the label (“Advertisement” / “Supported by …”).
- Invoice on booking, paid by EFT or card; we go live on the agreed date.
Bundle two or more placements and we will quote the bundle. Long runs are cheaper per week than one-offs.
What we will not do
- Undisclosed ads dressed as news — every paid placement is labelled.
- Pop-ups that hijack the page, or anything that slows the site down.
- Scams, get-rich schemes, gambling, or anything we would not defend in the corrections log.
- Selling, renting or exposing the email list. Ever.
